Safer Sex Practices and Criminal Behavior

Here's an interesting article from Ms Magazine:

In the article, the investigator suggests that women stopped on the streets with an 'excess amount' of condoms on their person, are more likely to be be harrassed and/or arrested for the crime of prostitution.

According to the article, "Almost everyone interviewed for a recent Sex Workers Project survey mentioned a certain number of condoms over which they felt more concerned about increased harassment.” Cyndee Clay, the executive director of the Washington D.C.-based initiative Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive, said the issue is a "common enough practice that everyone knows about it.”
